The Well Mannered Dog’s Adventure Camp is coming back this spring!

A wild approach to canine care and training that your dog will not want to miss!

What is Dog Camp? It’s an immersive pack hiking experience where dogs get to have fun, socialize, and learn.

Dog Camp is an exciting pack hiking service designed specifically for our beloved canine companion, offering a unique blend of exercise, socialization, play, and training in an adventurous outdoor setting. Unlike traditional doggy day care or day training, Dog Camp provides an enriching experience where your furry friend can run freely, swim, engage in playful interactions, and learn valuable skills—all within a safe and structured environment alongside a carefully selected group of canine pals.

Campers are given the freedom to hike off-leash or on long lines, depending on their individual skill levels and the specific environment, allowing for a tailored experience that meets each dog's needs. Our engaging sessions typically last between 2 to 3 hours, and we make it convenient for you with complimentary pick-up and drop-off services from your home. Rain or shine, the camp is always on! Currently, we offer our sessions multiple times per week, providing ample opportunities for your dog to thrive and have fun. Come join us at Dog Camp, where adventure awaits!

Is your dog ready?

Camp candidates should…

Be generally well behaved. They don’t need to know obedience commands but camp may not be right for your dog if they do not get along well with others.

Ride well in the car. If your dog is not comfortable in the car, reach out! They may not be camp ready yet, but we can help work them through!

Be at least one year old. Due to the amount of physical activity dogs get at camp, puppies under one year aren’t quite structurally mature enough and a risk of injury is not worth it! Reach out and we can chat about when would be appropriate to start!

Testimonials…

“I actually love taking him out for walks now because he doesn’t pull me the whole entire time. We can actually walk past people and he doesn’t bark the whole time. We can have a bicycle ride by us and he doesn’t completely lose himself because he has the confidence to know to just look for me for what to do.”

— Michelle B.

“Now, when we are walking through the park or strolling around the corner, I am proud of her and how far she has come along. Being able to be outside walking with her has helped my emotional well-being.”

— Agnes G.

“Reach out for training sooner than later. I had not realized how quickly my dog would improve with training. I also had not realized how the little things learned in training pay off exponentially with such positive results.”

How it works.

  • Step 1.

Reach out! Find out if your dog is a good fit for camp, and if camp is a good fit for you!

  • Step 2.

Schedule a consultation. We will plan a day to meet and get to know your dog and goals a bit better.

  • Step 3.

Settle on a schedule whether that is once, twice, or three times a week and let us handle the rest!
